What motivates or stimulates someone to watch YouTube videos? What makes a video trend? It amazes me how big money making channels get views...I must be doing something wrong. Or is it the way YouTube's "machine" is set up? Does quality content even matter? Or is it just a "smack you in the face" moment in time? Been at this YouTube thing for 4+ years and it seems to me the only way to make money on YouTube is to be a hot young chick trying on panties, bras, leggings, and/or doing Yoga stretching videos. Shoot, any decent looking female with a smile and an ass/tit shot will make bank. Another way is gaming videos. Many social commentary creators do well too...like these "Life Vloggers". See my point? What is YouTube promoting? Why do they pay MAJOR bucks for content like that? My channel is all about DIY projects and products. I am SMALL potatoes and make less than two hundred a month after 4+ years of doing videos. Yes, I am 100% thankful for what I do get and my subscriber base, but I wonder how much PROFIT YouTube and Amazon has received from my videos. Esp the product and demo videos. It is all too apparent the nice, good, respectful, decent YouTube creators get shoveled away from getting ahead. Lastly, I touch upon companies making money off our reviews, product demos, and praises (can you say "free advertising")? See my point? YouTube is like a bad high school drama class filled with privileged rich kids who dictate what is good. Pretty sad IMO. Hard to stay positive when things are stacked against you to get ahead. #YouTubeprofits #freeadvertising #Amazon Visit my Chris DIYer Amazon Store: www.amazon.com/shop/chrisdiyer?isVisitor=true Disclaimer: Chris DIYer videos are for entertainment, educational, informative, and news purposes only. No religious/political comments, vulgar language, and/or personal attacks allowed. This is my Channel…not your personal playground to spew insults and other trolling activities. Example would be: being a "social justice warrior", "Mr Know-it-All", complete ill-educated moron, and/or overt self-promotion. Bossy comments (like, "You need to do this or that") will likely be laughed off and deleted. Hitting the "thumbs down" is actually good for my viewership...but, if you really don't like a video, don't watch it. Why not just grow a pair and actually leave an comment if your butt hurts? Better yet, create your own content and see how that goes for ya. Biblical quotes/preaching/condescending or sanctimonious remarks...not allowed here. Take your nasty crudeness (Mr or Mrs High & Mighty superiority complexes), drama-filled lifestyle, and fester on someone else's Channel. If you have thin-skin or are easily offended...don't watch my content. Your First Amendment rights do NOT apply here. Offenses I deem inappropriate will be reported to the proper agencies...and action will be taken (guaranteed!). Don't push your luck. Bottom line, being nice/respectful/positive will go a LONG way here. Sharing DIY ideas/helping others with their builds/saving money/having fun/sparking interest with your own DIY creations is what this Channel is all about. Lastly, this is my backyard/channel...like it or leave it. There are no "bad" videos out there (you can actually learn a lot from others who do things differently or are learning). So, have FUN while your here, learn something, and make the world a better place. © 2018 by Chris DIYer. All rights reserved. Do not use any part of this video without my written permission.
