This English martial artist, also known as the “Brit Kicker”, has a cult following among fans of martial arts B-movies. Following his time as a kickboxing champion under the Professional Karate Association (P.K.A.) and World Kick Boxing Association (W.K.B.A.) with a record of 33 K.O. victories, Gary Daniels began his film career starring in the 1988 film “Final Reprisal”. He would later appear in the Hong Kong action comedy movie “City Hunter” alongside Jackie Chan and would portray the character Kenshiro in a live action adaptation of the manga/anime “Fist of the North Star”. The latter is considered his most iconic role although his part in “Bloodmoon” with Chuck Jeffreys and the late Darren Shahlavi may be his most popular among fans. Besides his Kickboxing background, Daniels also has a 2nd dan black belt in Taekwondo along with training in Boxing, Muay Thai, Ninjutsu, Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, Mongolian Kung Fu (a hybrid martial art combining Mongolian Wrestling, Wing Chun, various other forms of Wushu, and Boxing), and Shaolin Wong Family Fist (another hybrid martial art). Here are my favorite Gary Daniels fight scenes. 1. Fist of the North Star 2. The Legend of Bruce Lee 3. Bloodmoon 4. City of Fear 5. Fatal Blade 6. Cold Harvest 7. Game of Death 8. Tekken 9. Hunt to Kill 10. The Expendables 11. (outro) City Hunter Other notable films include Bloodfist 4: Die Trying, Knights, Deadly Target, Recoil, Spoiler, Retrograde, Submerged, Reptilicant, La Linea, Across the Line, The Mark, A Stranger in Paradise, Payday 2 (Web Series), Tekken 2: Kazuya’s Revenge, Misfire, Rumble, Zero Tolerance, and Dancin’ It’s On.
