Hi! I'm Patrice. I'm an engineer and automotive mechanic/technician that caters to women. I created Girls Auto Clinic (GAC for short) to solve a big problem in women’s lives, including my own. The automotive buying and repair experience for women is one of STRESS, ANXIETY, and inconvenience. I would like to connect with other business owners, automotive technicians, dealerships, automotive parts stores, and those who have an interest in automotive education and knowledge. More info about the GAC mission: It’s no secret that women generally do not understand vehicles – how they operate or how to maintain them. Most women hate the automotive buying and repair process because we feel misunderstood, taken advantage of, and/or mistreated. To make things worse, the automotive industry has not done much to ease concerns, anxiety, and fear despite the fact more than half their customers are women and spend $200 Billion (with a B) a year on buying and repairing their cars. Patrice was once one of these women. A self-proclaimed “auto airhead,” Patrice created a business model that supports a need in the lives of millions: automotive services, products, and resources that cater to women based on trust, education, inclusion, and empowerment. Girls Auto Clinic wants women to be confident drivers and smart consumers. We strive to be a visionary leader in the automotive industry by changing the way the industry views and markets to women while also changing the beliefs women have towards the industry through education and niche marketing. GAC offer trustworthy, open, and down-to-earth dialogue about the workings of vehicles and how to service and maintain them through female auto repair garages, car care workshops, books, an apparel line, and more! We change the relationship women have with their cars by giving each and every women driver a unique and memorable automotive experience!
